Outcomes:

  • This closed-door follow-up meeting to the Sept 19th NYC events aimed to gather the candid thoughts and recommendations for the IBI
  • Discussions explored the role of academic, government, philanthropic, industry, and young scientist stakeholders in the IBI
  • A strawman framework for the mission, governance, and activities of the IBI was produced by Chris Ebell (Human Brain Project) and circulated to group for feedback

 

Stakeholder engagement:

  • Attendees consisted of government representatives, neuroscience researchers, private entities, and non-profit institutions
