The Global Neuroethics Group, The Kavli Foundation and the Ethics and Society group of the Human Brain Project, will host the Global Neuroethics Engagement Pre-Summit Workshop in Uppsala, Sweden on May 19-21, 2019.  In continuation of the momentum and efforts set forth in 2018, this meeting will focus on presenting research on the state of neuroscience and neuroethics engagement as well as the development of survey instruments for scientists and the general public based on the five Neuroethics Questions for Neuroscientists (NeQN, GNS delegates et al, 2018, Neuron).

This Pre-Summit meeting will set the stage for our annual Global Neuroethics Summit in Daegu, Republic of Korea on Sept 25-27, 2019, which follows the IBRO congress. At this meeting each of the brain projects will present preliminary data from the surveys. We will use this information to discuss how the relevance and utility of the five NeQN in future engagement practices and education programs.
